The software

gitpuls shows your GitHub activity and, with the optional server module, the state of your server. You install and run it yourself, in one Docker container on your own machine. outperform GmbH does not run it for you and has no access to your installation.

Price

gitpuls is free of charge. There is no paid version, no subscription and no account. The terms for using and changing the source code are published together with the source code.

What you should expect

• gitpuls reads from the GitHub API with a token you provide and is bound by GitHub's terms and rate limits. If GitHub changes or limits its API, a part of gitpuls may stop working until it is adapted.
• The server module reads the state of your server with the permissions you give it. You decide what it may read; check its output before you rely on it for security decisions.
• You are responsible for where you run gitpuls and who can reach it. It shows commit messages and server details and should not be exposed to the public internet without access control.
• gitpuls is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, outperform GmbH is not liable for damage from its use.
